Understanding plans, credit usage and credit management in Deepinvent.

Deepinvent is a subscription-based service with multiple plan tiers designed for different innovation and IP development needs. When you subscribe to a plan, you get access to enhanced features and monthly credits. Use credits to unlock Deepinvent’s AI — from idea evaluation to research, knowledge graphs, whitespace insights, and drafting disclosures.

Plans Overview

Each plan includes a set number of allocated monthly credits plus daily credits. We offer annual billing discounts for substantial savings. Annual billing provides a discounted monthly rate and better credit management.

When you upgrade your plan, for example, from Inventor to Pro, your total monthly credits are updated to the new plan's allocation. So if you upgrade mid-cycle, you'll receive the full credit allocation for your new plan.

Inventor Plan

  • 20 monthly credits + 5 daily credits (max 10 per month)

  • Enhanced scientific research

  • Enhanced patent research

  • Enhanced whitespace analysis

  • Advanced drafting

Pro Plan

  • 100 monthly credits + 5 daily credits (max 30 per month)

  • Everything in Inventor, plus:

    • Collaboration features

    • Enrich the knowledge graph with your own sources

Startup Plan

  • 300 monthly credits + 5 daily credits (max 50 per month)

  • Everything in Pro, plus:

    • Priority processing

    • Company document database

    • Exclusive feature preview

    • Premium access to top patent attorney help at member rates

Enterprise Plan

  • Custom credit allocation

  • Everything in Startup, plus:

    • Generative Innovation Hub

    • Segmented teams

    • Legal / Engineering API integrations

    • IP portfolio management tools

Credit System

Credit Types

  • Monthly Credits: Core allocation that resets monthly on your billing date

  • Daily Credits: Additional 5 credits per day that reset at midnight UTC (subject to monthly caps)

  • Bonus Credits: Additional credits that can be earned through our referral program

Credits Usage

Deepinvent uses a usage-based credit system where different AI operations consume credits based on complexity:

  • Provisional disclosure generation: 3 credits

  • All other compute actions: 1 credit (including idea analysis, company research, scientific literature research, patent searches, draft editing…)

This straightforward pricing ensures you only pay for what you use, with provisional disclosure generation being the most resource-intensive operation requiring additional credits.
Monthly Credits Reset

Your monthly credit allocation resets on your billing date. For example, if you subscribed on the 15th, your credits reset on the 15th of each month.

Credits Rollover

Current Policy: Monthly credits do not roll over between billing periods. Unused monthly credits expire at the end of each billing cycle. Daily credits reset each day and do not accumulate.
